Modjo Hydrade Elite® research

Has Many people think that all salt is alike. This is not true. Refined salt is cheaper than pure sea salt and composed of approximately 98% sodium chloride.Refined salt goes through a filtering process that involves high temperatures, chemical additives such as iodine and aluminum based anti-clumping agents and the removal of naturally occurring minerals.

Sea salt is produced through evaporation of seawater, usually with little processing, which leaves behind some trace minerals and elements depending on its water source. These various amounts of minerals add flavor and color to sea salt.

As refined white salt is different from unrefined sea salt, the effects on the body are not the same.

Simply, the body cannot assimilate isolated synthetic sodium chloride typically found in refined salt.

Biochemically, cells may starve without salt.
In brief, salt;
• May aid in balancing blood sugar levels
• May be needed for the absorption of food particles through the intestinal tract
• May be a strong natural antihistamine
• May help prevent muscle cramps
• May be needed to make bones strong
• May regulate and normalize blood pressure
• May increase energy levels
• May help regulate the metabolism
• May help maintain proper electrolyte balance
• May support the immune system

Sea Salt provides sodium chloride in a form that that the body may need to function. As with other dietary recommendations, moderation is always essential.

Contains a complex blend of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, carbohydrates, antioxidants, enzymes, health enhancing growth hormones, and other important nutrients.
Because its electrolyte (ionic mineral) content is similar to human plasma, coconut water has gained international acclaim as a natural sports drink for oral rehydration. Unlike other beverages, it is completely compatible with the human body, in so much that it can be infused directly into the bloodstream. In fact, doctors have used coconut water successfully as an intravenous fluid for over 60 years.
Published medical research and clinical observation have shown that:

•Coconut water is packed with simple sugar, electrolytes, and minerals to replenish hydration levels in the body.
•Natural isotonic beverage – contains the same level of electrolytes found in human blood
•Coconut water contains a very good amount of electrolyte potassium. 100 ml of water has 250 mg of potassium and 105 mg of sodium.
•Coconut water has been generally offered to patients with diarrhea in many tropic regions to replace fluid loss from the gastrointestinal tract and reduce the need for intravenous therapy. The osmolarity of tender coconut water is slightly greater than that of WHO recommended ORS (Oral Rehydration Therapy) osmolarity. Presence of other biological constituents like amino acids, enzymes, minerals, and fatty acids may account for this higher osmolarity.
•Coconut water is composed of many naturally occurring bioactive enzymes such as acid phosphatase, catalase, dehydrogenase, diastase, peroxidase, RNA polymerases etc. Altogether, these enzymes aid in digestion and metabolism.
•Despite very light consistency, its water has much better composition of minerals like calcium, iron, manganese, magnesium, and zinc than some of fruits like oranges.
• Coconut water is also a very good source of B-complex vitamins such as riboflavin, niacin, thiamin, pyridoxine, and folates. These vitamins are essential in the sense that body requires them from external sources to replenish.
•Fresh coconut water also has small amount of vitamin-C (ascorbic acid); provides about 2.4 mcg or 4% of RDA. Vitamin C is a water-soluble ant-oxidant.
